Jay grew up in Lake City, SC, attended Francis Marion College and graduated with a B.A. in biology. In 1982 Jay moved to Charleston and began his career as a salesman/factory rep with Marsh Kitchens, a division of Marsh Furniture Company, of High Point, NC. Ten years later, in 1992, with a natural ability for design, architecture, and construction he created his business plan and bought the company. So began Charleston Cabinets Inc!  A Family run local Lowcountry business servicing builders, designers, and homeowners for 30 years. Jay credits his company’s growth to a simple philosophy, “Make every home the best it can be with a steadfast commitment to customer service!” Jay often visits the job sites himself to monitor quality assurance. Jay's 30 plus years of experience is the backbone to the success of Charleston Cabinets, Inc.
